Can't sign into internet accounts on High Sierra

So, recently I was signed out of all my internet accounts on my work computer and for some reason it would not let me sign back in unless I removed the account. So, I removed the account, put all the correct information in, and viola, I was signed in, but the next dialogue box asked me which apps I wanted to allow the account to use (exchange), I would click done and not be able to advance. The small loading wheel would briefly spin, the "done" button turned into a "next" button, and I was stuck in a never ending loop, and still am. I am very frustrated, have gone through several threads on this discussion board, and have found no viable solution. Safe mode does not work. A hard reset doesn't work. I can access the account on another user but that is an incredible inconvenience. I would love a concrete solution, as this appears to be a common issue with the new OS. Thanks.

No, not my personal account. I am trying to sign into my work computer with my work exchange account, but that really is irrelevant in this issue. The issue is that I am unable to actually connect any account to the computer right now, even if the sign-in info is correct. I get stuck in a never-ending loop of not being able to fully connect to the computer due to the fact that the "done" button in the bottom right becomes a "next" button that doesn't actually do anything. The blue highlighted "Next" button does not do anything.

By "any account" are you referring to other work-related Internet accounts in addition to Exchange? Has this always been an issue or just started happening lately? Finally are you attempting to sign into these accounts from your work's network or from a remote location? If remote, are you using a work-provided VPN to access your company's internal network?

I mean that I tested it with a personal account to see if it was just an exchange issue, and the same thing happened. This just started today for me, but as I have dug though this discussion thread I see that isn't that uncommon of an issue. I am using my work's network, so that isn't the issue. I also created another admin user for the computer and was able to connect there, just for whatever reason I am unable to connect using my actual user.
