Is anything other than water ok to clean a screen

A product called "Woosh", often sold in Apple shops, is supposed to be good for cleaning screens etc. Is this item actually safe to use on an iPhone screen, or will it damage the oleophobic coating? Is it safe for e.g. iMac screens?

That was the first thing I did - I read that article. I know it says don't use window cleaners, ammonia containing products etc. etc., but, as the constituents of "Woosh" are unknown, it is not clear to me whether or not this product is one of those that must not be used.

As the oleophobic coating wears on a new iPhone it becomes more difficult to clean the screen just using water. My question is will the use of e.g. Woosh further accellerate the loss of the oleophobic coating, or is it useful?

To put the question another way - is there anything other than pure water that is useful/safe to use to clean oleophobic coated screens?

Thanks for the prompt reply. I was however hoping for a bit more info than that supplied. Do the suppliers of the oleophobic coatings not have a bit more info? (Hopefully your reply won't just be "Contact those suppliers and ask them yourself", but they seem to be a bit of a secretive lot, so I guess I will never get anything more than what you have said so far ) . . .
