my iphone keeps saying “invalid payment method” when i put all the right information what do i do?

Every time I try to put my debit or credit card on for my billing it won’t accept for invalid payment method and I’m getting mad because it’s the same card I was using for my iPhone 7 and it worked perfectly fine and now my iPhone 8 won’t accept it so what do I do
