'One or more audio files have changed length'

I have been getting this persistent issue with Logic Pro X. When I open a project, I get an error message that one or more of my audio files have changed length. These files are no longer playable, and I have to revert to a previously backed-up version of the project. A number of people seem to be having this issue, but when I contacted Apple support, the tech person I spoke with was unfamiliar with the problem, and when I suggested the matter be escalated, he didn't seem particularly interested, and instead gave me the stock suggestions (try rebooting, try logging into a different account, etc...)

I've confirmed that this happens when I close (not save, but close) the project.

I was hoping this would be resolved with 10.4.1, but the issue remains.
