Apple watch series 3 Contacts not showing names

Hello, i recently decided to try the watch OS 5 Dev Beta 3 and after updating my watch is not showing any of my contact names i have tried several steps to attempt to fix this such as

-resetting sync data

-reipairing watch (2 attempts) 1 as new and 1 from backup.

-turning off and on icloud contacts

-editing my contacts

also when i attempt to call anyone using siri it acts as thogh i dont even have any contacts on my apple watch and has to continue on my iphone. im am at a loss as to what to do here and would appreciate any help

So I just fixed the contact issue by going into the iCloud setting a on my iPhone which is iOS 12 b3 and turning off the contacts tell it to keep the iCloud contacts on your phone and then turn iCloud contacts back on this has solved the issue for me. Now watchOS 5 b3 has contacts again and no reinstalling or downgrading required.
