Mac is increasingly very slow (Etre report included)

Hello, I've been having some major issues with my iMac becoming slower and slower by the day. I got the etre program to help out but I am not computer savvy. If anyone gets a free moment and decides to look over this to give me some suggestions I'd certainly appreciate it!! (I think I'm doing this correctly, if not just let me know)

Thanks so much

Will J

Uninstall BitDefender and MemoryClean as per the developer's instructions. No Anti-Virus software or so-called “cleaning” apps are needed or recommended for Mac OS. They can conflict with Mac's own built-in security. At best they will slow your Mac by using unnecessary resources and at worst will bork your entire system.

Memory cleaners are no help at all. The OS is designed to use as much RAM as possible since RAM is way faster than using any rotational hard drive for virtual RAM. It's even much faster than an SSD.

By having a memory cleaner installed, you are doing nothing but creating a constant loop of the cleaner purging RAM it thinks is inactive, and the OS immediately filling it again.

If after getting rid of BitDefender and MemoryClean the Mac is still sluggish, I would mostly be concerned the mechanical hard drive is failing. Make a full backup as soon as possible.
