FaceTime will not Quit

Hi Apple Community,

My FaceTime application on my MacBook Pro will not respond. I can’t open it, and force quit doesn’t work. I’ve also tried restarting my Mac, but that needs all the applications to quit or close and FaceTime application is still frozen. Please help me!

- Thanks

MacBook Pro, iOS 10.1.1

Hi Ash_X,

Have you tried forcing your MacBook Pro to power off? This can be done by holding down the power button until the screen goes black. If your MacBook Pro has a Touch Bar, the Touch ID (fingerprint reader) button is also the power button.
