Why does "Open Wireless Diagnostics" no longer appear in OS High Sierra drop down menu when pressing option key whilst hovering on menu bar wifi icon ?
How can this app be opened?
NOTE: I'm referring to Wireless Diagostics, not Network Diagnostics

Option - CLICK works.
I see it there when option-clicking as well.
You may try Command-Space to open a Spotlight search.
I am sitting here in front of a 2014 MacBook Air running macOS High Sierra 10.13.5. An option-click on my wireless menubar item shows Open Wireless Diagnostics… in that menu.
I don't know why the Wireless Diagnostics menu item is not present. Are you using another wireless solution other than the built-in wireless hardware in the MacBook Pro?

Not for me any longer. Hence my question....I wonder what's wrong?
One has to perform an option-click on the wireless icon to actually determine if the Open Wireless Diagnostic… menu item even exists. Obviously, the OP and I have done that with different results.
