Apple Support Robo Calls

Over the past few days, I have a received no less than 7 calls telling me that my iPad account has fraudulent activity. They asked to press 1 to be connected to apple support or call a 518 area code number to speak with a representative. Most of the calls originate from area code 480 (Phoenix) or 718 (NY). I keep blocking but I still get calls. Anybody else getting inundated these past few days? Suggestions?

If "they" have your number and believe that it is a "good one" (one that has a person using it), "they" will continue to call - spoofing the number from which the call is coming

All you can do is to NEVER answer the phone if you believe that it might be "them" (answering tells "them" that the number is indeed good)

The area code can be spoofed by the criminals, so they may be anywhere on Earth

Reporting these to your carrier MAY help some
