Amazon Prime issue with Apple TV

Hi, I downloaded Prime Video on Apple TV, I have a Prime subscription with Amazon, based in the US, my Apple ID is also registered in the US, yet when I try to watch a tv show offered by Prime on Apple TV, I get the following error:

Location settings issue

To use Prime Video with the TV and Search apps, your Apple ID region and Amazon account location settings must match. Your Amazon account is registered in the US. Please set your Apple ID region to US in iTunes settings on your computer or mobile device. Error code: 5510

I don't understand, my Apple ID region is US, and so is my Amazon Prime account

Finally I got it right! In my case, I have two Amazon accounts, one has prime the other one doesn't, I had used the incorrect Amazon account to register Prime Video y Apple TV. I had to deregister Prime Video and register it again with the correct account. Hope this helps.

That's so strange, because your error message said, "Your Amazon account is registered in the US." I wonder if maybe the message doesn't really reflect what the problem is. Still haven't figured out what's wrong here.

Make sure DNS is set to auto (settings - network)

Check settings to ensure location is set properly.

Logout and back in to your iTunes and Amazon account.

Reboot ATV and router.
