cannot sync

we have a new computer and I can't sync. My phone shows up in iTunes but it doesn't sync

iPhone 6, iOS 11.4.1

Didi you already check the general troubleshooting in this article?

If iTunes doesn't recognize your iPhone, iPad, or iPod - Apple Support


The newest iTunes version 12.8. has been installed as well?

You are using the original Apple USB cable, and the phone is charging when you connect it too the computer?

No hub or anything else plugged in between?
