Adjusting iMac Camera's Field of View

Hi there,

I noticed that when I use the video meeting website Appear.in with the ?widescreen qualifier at the end of the URL I get a wider field of view from the iMac's camera than I do in Photobooth.

Is there a way to adjust the field of view in Photobooth? Or is there a recommended camera app that will display the absolute limits of the field of view of the sensor?

Thanks!

Mac Pro, macOS Sierra (10.12.6)

To get to any app's preferences type Command + , (comma) and the preferences will come up. If you do not see anything for the adjustment you want then it cannot be done.

You can make a request to Apple at www.apple.com/feedback. Don't expect a reply though as they get millions of requests. They do read each though, just don't expect a personalized answer.

Thank you, but that's the post that caused me to post this question. At the top it notes I should ask a new question.

I understand you can't adjust it systemwide, so I'm asking if you can adjust it in Photobooth or if there is an app that shows the entire field of view.
