I'm getting a message that Safari has a virus

When I open safari I get several of the same page saying call Apple and you are infected with a virus. I can't do anything with Safari after that except Force Quit. I ran my malware program and it says nothing is wrong. Something is, but what?

iMac, iOS 10.3.3, IOS 10.11.6 actually

If the pop-up reloads, force quit Safari (command - option/alt - esc) and reopen with the shift key held down. If that doesn't work, disconnect from the Internet, go to Safari/History and delete the website. Quit and reopen with the shift key held down. Then reconnect to the Internet.
