Sustituir la coma decimal por punto decimal en Numeric Keypad

Como sustituir la coma (,) por un punto (.) el tablero numérico de mi Magic Key Board with numeric Keypad para una iMac (Retina 4K, 21.5-inch, 2017), con sistema operativo mac OS High Sierra 10.13.5

Este numeric Keypad en español tiene coma decimal y escribe coma decimal;

En México (mi país) no se usa la coma decimal, se usa el punto decimal;

Excel y otros programas no reconocen la coma como separador decimal.

Quiero que esa coma sea sustituida por un punto al momento de picarla (sin tener que cambiar la figura en la tecla)

MacBook Pro (13-inch Late 2011), OS X Mavericks (10.9.2)

yes. I understand. enter a valid decimal number in a cell, then use the dialog I showed to change the locality. notice that the separator will change between the comma and the decimal as you make those adjustments. I do not have a non-US keyboard and cannot make suggestions how that should work. However, I believe you should be able to use the decimal key on the numeric key pad to enter the decimal appropriate for the locality selection

In the document you have open, select the Numbers menu item "File > Advanced > Language & Region…":

then select the "Language" and "Region" as needed to set the decimal separator

I think you should be able to use the "dot" on the numeric keypad or the "period" on the keyboard as a decimal separator. If you want the decimal separator to be a comma then you need to use a keyboard locality that uses that convention. I DO NOT think you can coerce the keyboard to type a comma when you touch the dot key. If you could I think you would become frustrated in other situations.

Thank you about your concern and answers.

My problem is that in Mexico we use, as does in USA, a point sign as a separator; but the rest of the Spanish speaking countries uses the comma as a decimal separator (South America, Asia and Europe does too); then, my numeric key pad has a comma button and, when I pushes it, it shows a comma in the screen... I need to be changed, JUST the screen interpretation of that precise single decimal-comma-button.

Thank you, but it just solves that the document accepts the colon (,) instead of the period (.)

What I need is that when I push that button (“,”), appears a period (.) in the screen. Is it possible?
