What to do about scam/phishing emails?

Every once in a while I get a random email about my Apple account that’s clearly not from Apple. It always says something about my account being closed or that I have violated terms trying to get me to open a document or link. Of course I don’t as the email is definiely not an Apple email. How do I get these emails to stop???User uploaded file

They are phishing attempts. Do not respond to, or otherwise act on the messages.
