Every once in a while I get a random email about my Apple account that’s clearly not from Apple. It always says something about my account being closed or that I have violated terms trying to get me to open a document or link. Of course I don’t as the email is definiely not an Apple email. How do I get these emails to stop???
They are phishing attempts. Do not respond to, or otherwise act on the messages.

For most unknown emails, you can prevent future emails from that specific email source by scrolling all the way to the bottom of the email and pressing the unsubscribe. You will be redirected to a website where you can stop or reduce undesired emails.
I shall do that. Honestly, I have done that since the first few emails I got. I’ve always been careful about my email address and signing up for things so trying to figure out where I possibly went wrong is a pain😅

Unfortunately using the "unsubscribe" button in such spam emails, will only confirm your address to the scammers, thus generating more spam.

Yes, they are a nuisance. I've found the best way is to use a disposable email address for site registrations and such, and another email address for more legitimate purposes.
