Is it my phone? Or charger?

I’ve checked for shortages In the charger and checked my charging port for lint and stuff. The charger doesn’t charge my phone, but when i power it off and plug in the charger, my phone turn on

Hi

The only way is to try another apple charger have you got a friend with one

Or try ipad charger.

If charger is under 12 months old make an appointment at Apple store.

It depends to better determine the issue here


You could connect your phone using the lightning USB to a laptop or pc now if the laptop can read your iPhone, on and charge it means its a faulty charger.


But if the Phone can't be detected using the lightning USB and not charging via a cable connecting your phone then it could mean an issue with your phone.
