How do I make me a pic avatar , I tried copying a pic , but it didn't work.

You have to get to Level 3 before you can have a personalised avatar; you need 500 points to get there, which you get from answering questions and their being marked as 'solved' or 'helpful', or other activities can attract points - see Points and Leaderboards
