Getting error code 12158 on iPhone

So, I got an Apple lightning adapter to watch purchased stuff on my tv. It seems to mirror fine. I see my home screen and everything as I navigate, but when I try and start a movie on the tv app or on the vudu app, I get this error. I tried both streaming and downloaded items and got this. I could not find this error on google or here. I have an iPhone 7s with no pending updates.
