Scam phone call from 408-********

Phone call on my 'land line' from this phone number supposedly from Apple Support. It left a message that my icloud account has been compromised. I could call back to speak with an advisor tool free 888-******

Apparently, this phone number has been used in the past to try to scam people!

I just received a phone call that my iCloud account is compromised. Does Apple make this kind of phone call? Or is this phishing? Is this just phishing calls? I received several calls today different numbers and the same message. In these calls, I was asked to press 2 to get the Apple support specialist or call at a later time at toll free #208-262-0000. The phone numbers are from Arizona with area code 408.

Suspicious phone call I received a call from ****-4449 it was an automated call saying that my iCloud has some suspicious activity and wanted me to hit option 1 to speak to an Apple Support advisor. Is this real or a scam? They called twice. [Edited by Moderator]
