If you still can't update, try to do it via iTunes latest version on a computer.

If the issue still persists, you can contact your most convenient Apple Store or Authorized Service Provider, and they will help you to perform this update: Apple - Find Locations - Location Selector

Hi I am having the same issue. I brought my daughter a second hand iPhone 5 SE I think it is never been used perfect condition. It won’t download apps saying it needs to down load iOS 10.3.3 but you hit install and it won’t do it. Nothing happens I have tried plugging into iTunes and it’s saying I don’t have permission to access iTunes? So confused...

I am trying to install iSO 10.3.3 it’s downloaded but will not install. Every app my daughter tries to down load like Facebook, Instagram and Spotify it says it can’t do it because the phone does not have iSO 10.3.3. I tried to connect through iTunes but my lap top keeps saying I don’t have permission to enter the phone. Would I be better to take it in to Apple? I also brought a green iPhone 5c for my work from the same person and it works amazing downloads everything etc. would I be better to sell the iPhone 5 and get her something a bit more recent? Or do you think there is an actual fault with the phone?

What iphone model are you using?

How are you trying to update it? wirelessly or via computer?

Chances are that you are running VPN(s). But we need more details such as iPhone Model and current ios version.

There is no such thing as an iPhone 5 SE. There is an iPhone 5, a 5s, and an SE.

What version of iOS is it currently running? The iPhone 5 can't run anything higher than 10.3.3

I suggest restarting your phone and then trying again.
