i have an old iphone 4 and would like to get back in the phone but i disabled it putting to many wrong lock screen passcodes in the phone how do i get it out of this mode

To get in recovery mode hold the home and power button. When the screen turns off let go of the power button and keep holding the home button. Plug the iPhone into your computer and it should turn on in recovery mode.

You cannot activate an iPhone without a sim. The sim does not have to be

associated with an active cellular account; however, if the iPhone is locked to a

particular wireless provider, the sim must be from that wireless provider.

i cant get to recovery mode no matter how long I hold those two buttons....
