iOS 11.4.1 battery drain?
I’ve installed iOS 11.4.1 when it came out, and from My knowledge I don’t remember My iPhone dying as fast but the past few days, it barley lasts me all day. Anyone else experience this issue?
iPhone X, iOS 11.4.1

Hey again! Thanks for replying. I love hearing back from ya'll!!
Okay.
May I ask you some questions?
How long have you had your iPhone?
Check in your settings> Battery and see what has been using a lot of your battery.
Depending on how long you have had your iPhone, it may need a Apple checkup. (Probably just the flu! 😉)
Anyways, thanks for letting me know you have already done the tips. With you saying that, I would go get it checked out!
Hope you have a great rest of your Monday!
I also hope your iPhone gets better soon! 😉
Love,

This has been a replacement iPhone that I received about a month ago. Little less. And my iPhone has a 100% battery capacity and keep in mind I’ve restored my iPhone a couple times. Once as backup and once as brand new. Not sure what else it could be and what do you recommend me doing?
It’s an iPhone X. Okay so I double checked my settings and noticed that my mail was on “push” but it was on for my iCloud mail(which I don’t have) and holiday(calendar) so I turned “push” off along which “raise to wake” even though I deleted the “mail” app would those two things hurt my battery still?
I wouldn't think so, but then again, when your......... 😮
ICLOUD. IS YOUR ICLOUD FULL? check it!! 😃 That might be it. I know my icloud is full and thats why its laggy. Take a look! Let me know!

Hi, I updated last week and definitely have noticed battery drain quicker on my X. I usually leave my phone on low power mode overnight and it usually only dropped a couple of percent but now its dropping up to 10%. Seem to be a lot of complaints after this new update!
I don't want a new IPhone, Apple needs to fix the issue. Following all the steps does absolutely nothing. What a load of crap really..."follow the steps", As if that can fix what Apple has hard-coded into the OS....People come on, use your frigging brains....
I keep my phone clean, nothing running in the background. Charging it to 100%, come next morning it goes down to 85-87%. That is without touching it....Real nice work Apple....
Is Apple doing this so that we have to upgrade our phones? Again?? This is the last Apple product I am going to buy for sure, and I will contact the Consumer Commission so that they can investigate...
There’s many reasons your battery might drain faster. Most of the times it’s because you are not using the original charger; Even portable chargers could be a problem. However, as you start using the original charger again, it should go back to normal. If it doesn’t you should take it to the Apple company.

The adapter doesn't have to be an original Apple adapter. Cables should be Made for iPhone Certified.
11.4.1 made no difference to the symptoms I experience on my iPhone 6+, which drains from about 35% to <10%, in low power mode, in minutes. Then, when it's had just a minute or two on a charger, it springs back up to 35%.
Not that Apple appear to care, judging from the lack of chatter about another update to fix this disaster.
I'll be recommending Android to my CEO for our next mobile refresh on this basis alone. At least you can always factory reset to an earlier version of their OS - I still find it galling that there is no legitimate mechanism for restoring an older iOS to your iPhone.

But there's a good chance you wouldn't need it as many Android phones never get updates or get them very, very late.
I'm sure you're right, but I'm still reassured by pressure that competition in the Android market applies to serving customers' needs. Maybe there are only a couple of vendors that continue to develop for a specific model while allowing the owner to downgrade, but that's still two more than the iOS 'market'.

Having worked in the cellular phone industry for twenty years, I find that statement very funny.
That’s the thing. I have all the battery saving tips on my phone already. And not sure if it’s worth getting my device checked out. I might do it just Incase.
Definitely go to an Apple Store. What type of iPhone? If it's an older version, I would get an iPhone upgrade. Also, clear some more storage if you haven't already!!
