Cannot delete iCloud account

I changed my Apple ID but did not delete my iCloud account on my Iphone before I did it. The iPhone tries to use the old ID but the password for that ID does not work. I cannot delete the account because I need to enter a password to turn off Find My Phone. Any ideas how to get out of this?

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)

Old Apple ID showing up in iCloud I need to erase my phone so I can get a replacement. In iCloud, Find my phone, when I go to erase it asks me for my password. Problem is, the apple id that is prepopulated and can't be changed is my old ID so of course it won't work. I tried using my current password and it said your account is locked so I went through the process to change the password but of course, I got the error "not a valid apple ID" which is correct becuase it is my old ID. Any ideas?

Apple ID on Ipad I have changed my Apple ID and it works on my iPhone however, I still see the old ID on my ipad. Will not let me change it. If I attempt to sign out, it asks me for the password on the old Apple Id that is no longer in existence to turn off find my ipad. How do I fix?

Trying to delete an Apple ID off my device I have an older ipad that was originally tied to one of my very old Apple ID’s. Now I want to sign into it with my new ID but there’s a problem. It wont let me sign out of the old iCloud account because it requires me to use the old account’s password in order to disable Find My iPad. I no longer have access to the old ID’s password, email, security questions, or anything else. I’m completely locked off from retrieving any of the info so I’m wondering if there’s a way I can completely remove the Apple ID from my device and sign into a new one without have the old one’s info, thank you in advance.

I have tried this before. It did not work because the old ID is no longer recognised. My new ID works on other devices but the problem seems to be that the iPhone is stuck with the old ID and I cannot get past that.
