How can I Pair my Homepod with more than one Apple ID.

I just purchased my Homepod and my wife wants me to get rid of it since its only setup with my apple user id, my songs etc. Is pairing the Homepod with multiple user ids even possible? We have also read that if my iphone is not around that my music will not be available. Is this true?

If Pairing with more than one user id is not possible now***?

It is personal requests, adding items to your reminders for example, that rely on your phone being on the same network. AirPlay also relies on the source device so if you start something off with AirPlay and then leave that will stop working. Your wife should be able to AirPlay any of her own content from her device. Or you could change things around so she is the primary user if that would be an acceptable compromise.
