Phillips Hue and HomePod

Consistently when asking Siri on HomePod to shut off or turn on lights on the Hue system, I get a response that "some of your devices are not responding" or "I can't do that right now". When I unplug and reset the HomePod and re-pair to home, the commands work for about an hour or two and then future commands revert to not working and getting the error statement again.

I have confirmed that they are all on the same network and are running the latest software. Manually using the HomeKit App or the Hue App on my device will control the lights. Siri on the phone also works. Is there something I am doing wrong with the HomePod?

Ok, I finally got it after hours! Home app, then click top left corner arrow, status of homepod was standby for me, basically I think I had to go to my apple tv, which was also a hub, settings, go to my home, disconnect and reconnect, that made everything work. Amen!

They are. I always ensure that I allow all lights to connect in the native Hue app and update regularly. It also seems it is not consistent with a particular light. I have hue lights throughout several rooms; and when it works, it works for all lights. When it doesn't work, it doesn't work for any lights.
