I want to select multiple photos to add to a new album. How do I do this without having to select photos by the each?

While viewing the Phots view, you can also select a single Photo and use the comment "Edit > Select Moment" to select the complete Moment.

Open photos application , take cursor on top menu bar > edit > click on select all .

Under albums create an entitled album by clicking on plus sign and can name it say " descent " .

Again take cursor on top menu bar > image > add to " descent " all the imaged from photos will transfer to the newly created album .

Just click and drag like you would selecting multiple files on the Desktop:

Or hold down the Shift key and click on the first photo and then on the last to select all photos in-between.
