The emergency sos uses a screaming loud alert when used. Can you turn the audible part off so you can secretly call for help? five taps on the power button are enough to know you seriously want help. The alarm would only tell someone hurting you that help is being called in 3 seconds.

Turn off the countdown sound. Go to Settings > Emergency SOS. If Countdown Sound is on, iPhone plays a warning sound even in silent mode or when Do Not Disturb is turned on.

Well you could just call the emergency number for your country. Rather than use the side buttons.
You will still have to speak to them to state problem.
That sound cannot be turned off or adjusted.
How do you turn off the loud alarm for emergency sos? This is a huge problem if you are trying to quietly call for help.
