How do I know what playlist is playing?

Look at this user interface and tell me which playlist is playing. Anyone know? How do you get iTunes to tell you what playlist you are playing? I'd like to save the playlist. Thank you!User uploaded file

Correct, iTunes doesn't show on this screen what playlist is playing.

You don't actually have to open these playlists to play them. You can just click on the play arrow that is on each one when you hover over them on this screen, which is what I typically do.

Apple needs to simply highlight the playlist is playing with an icon or blue highlight (preferred).

Thanks again.

I'm looking at the FOR YOU tab and it gave me multiple playlists to choose from. I clicked on the play icon arrow on one of them, but I forget which one. And Apple doesn't seem to like highlighting any song that is playing in iTunes, for some weird reason, and they don't highlight the playlist that is playing on a screen with multiple playlists.

The sidebar option is grayed out. When I right-click on the "..." next to the song that is playing, I get something different than you. Is it because you are playing your Library and I'm in Apple Music's "FOR YOU"?

My issue isn't adding a song to a playlist.

Again, I'm listening to one of the playlists in my original screenshot, however I don't remember which one is playing and there is no indication in the user interface as to which playlist is playing. I want to be able to add the playlist to my Library, however I have no clue which playlist is playing.

Apple doesn't indicate within the user interface what is playing. Not only that, once you do go into a playlist and see the list of songs, it doesn't highlight which song is playing. I have playlist that are 50 songs long and I have no clue why Apple refuses to highlight the song that is currently playing in the list. Like maybe make that song blue? Something?

I'm playing one of the songs in this list. Which one is it?

Hey tallscot, don't know where you are on this issue.

If you browse the For You and look at some suggested play lists, pick any one of the play lists, open it up.

So here I pick the A-List. See picture 1 below.

Once I do, when I pick a song, e.g. the Middle, from that play list, the play list name shows. See picture 2 below.

However, if I keep playing the song but use the back arrow as in picture 2 to return to the For You selections, I can no longer see what play list it is on.

And I cannot view what playlist the song is on by clicking on the ellipses as it is not in my own library yet.

I think the most left one in ‘Recently Played’, in the main For You page, is the currently playing playlist (or the last played, when stopped).

If you click that icon to access the playlist, the currently playing song will have a speaker symbol over its album artwork. The right side ellipsis (when hovering) may provide options and info for that song.
