If it purchased music you can redownload directly to your iphone 8, if it is non purchase music you sync your phone to itunes and download the music.

If you subscribe to Apple Music or Match then sign into your iCloud Music library, otherwise sync the new phone to the same iTunes library to which you synced your old one.
