Macbook to TV

Hi,

I'm trying to connect my macbook to my tv, however i'm not sure exactly which cable i need. I think its a mini dv to scart because i think its a mini dv connection on my macbook and a its definately a scart on my tv. Any help with what cable to get and where exactly to get it would be great. I haven't seen anything in the apple store.

Thanks.

Macbook, Mac OS X (10.4.8)

You will need to get a mini dvi to dvi adapter. Then you will need a dvi to scart cable. There are a few available on the web. The main thing to be sure of is the gender of the dvi to scart cable as it must be able to plug into the mini-dvi to dvi adapter.

I believe this would be the easiest way for you †o do this.

Since you have a composit video input you can get sound using this method by getting a 3.5mm to RCA audio Y cable. The red and white port are usually sound and the yellow is video. Example of 3.5mm to RCA Y cable
