When my alarm goes off in the morning, I open my clock app, navigate to alarms, and slide the green “ON” switch to the left to turn off my alarm. The slider then immediately slides itself back over to the green “ON” position. Why?

Yes my iOS is up to date. Please don’t give me stupid suggestions. Please read the question carefully and consider it before responding.

When my alarm goes off in the morning, I open my clock app, navigate to alarms, and slide the green “ON” switch to the left to turn off my alarm. The slider then immediately slides itself back over to the green “ON” position. I then have to slide the slider back over to the “OFF” position. This is a very simple issue. Simply put, my alarm switches or turns itself back on after I switch it off every single morning. Can someone please explain why this is or how to stop it?

And please, DO NOT ANSWER A QUESTION I DID NOT ASK. READ THIS QUESTION CAREFULLY AND INSTEAD OF GIVING ME A GENERIC AND IRRELEVANT RESPONSE, PLEASE FIND A SOLUTION TO MY ALARMS IN THE IOS CLOCK APP TURNING BACK ON AUTOMATICALLY AFTER I TURN THEM OFF. DO NOT ANSWER SOME DIFFERENT QUESTION I DID NOT ASK OR GIVE ME SOME IRRELEVANT ADVICE. THANK YOU.

Not without more information. What happens is you simply tap the "Stop" button on the screen? Is this a repeating alarm? Or a one time only?

This is a user-to-user support forum. We're all volunteering our time her. Making demands on how people should respond will probably decrease the responses, both useful and not, that you get. And, typing all in caps is consider shouting and therefore rude. Something to think about.

This is a user-to-user forum sponsored by Apple. Lots of people volunteer their time here to help people figure out what their problems are. If you'd like people to help you figure out your problem, it would help if you answered some questions: What happens is you simply tap the "Stop" button on the screen? Is this a repeating alarm? Or a one time only?
