The anti reflective coating has significantly come off my late 2013 macbook pro but since it was bought in early 2014 I’m out of the 4 year free fix period. Does anyone know roughly how much getting it repaired would cost?
I don't believe the coating can be done as a separate repair which would mean that, most likely, they would need to replace the entire screen. My guess is that you are looking at a $299 (US) repair cost as a minimum. However, I would suggest that you contact your local Apple Store and make an appointment where they can give you a more accurate estimate at no cost to you.
