i want to change apple id region but i cant because it said to me cancel apple music membership. WHY ? and HOW do i cancel it? What if i want to keep my apple music?

You can't change country whilst you have an active subscription, to stop it auto-renewing : View, change, or cancel your subscriptions - Apple Support

This can happen if you see an app from a different country, then click on that link and get redirected to that country's App Store.
You can go to Settings-> iTunes & App Stores -> View Apple ID -> Country/Region
This way you can verify your country.
If your region is correct but your App Store isn't showing it correctly then go to
Settings -> iTunes & App Stores -> Sign Out
Then you Sign Back in!

You need to remove all credit/payment balance before changing your region
Your country will show on your billing address e.g. on the payment details screen on the account if you log into it e.g. via Settings > iTunes & App Store

I was always in the correct region - India
I haven't changed my region ever
even my apple music was purchased in this region.
The region auto changed and is showing me everything in pounds.
What country shows on your iTunes account ? If it's correct have you tried logging out of it via one of the store apps and then back in ?
When i click on region it doesnt show . There is a message to cancel apple music first
