Using fn shortcut to hide windows?

Since upgrading to OS 10.13.6, I am no longer able to "hide" and "show" all windows on my desktop with the shortcut fn 10 or fn 11 commands. How do I access this function now?

MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2017), OS 10.13.6

It sounds like you are talking about the touch bar...

If so, I can confirm that in Mac OS 10.13.6 pressing the fn key will display the function keys in the touch bar and F10 and F11 display open windows and the desktop, respectively.

I guess the first thing to check is what is the setting for "Press Fn key to" in System Preferences, Keyboard.

I can't get any of those commands to do anything.

I have to press the, "fn" key to expose the commands on the changing bar at the top of my keyboard.

If I press the "fn" key, then press any of the "F1-F11" keys, nothing happens.

I used to shortcut by pressing, "fn" and at the same time, "F10" (or "F11") and the multiple windows on my desktop would disappear. Now that shortcut is not working with the new OS.

When I press the "command" key, the "fn" keys at the top of my keyboard are not exposed on my MacBook Pro.

Any other suggestions?
