I have an Apple Watch series 3 (GPS). When I’m not connected to WiFi or celluar,I cant send an iMessage as a SMS. When I send a message on my watch it automatically sends it as an iMessage and it doesn’t go through. Can I do anything?

On the iPhone go to Settings and then Messages and make sure “Send as SMS” is turned on.
