My IPhone just screamed really loudly!

I was driving around 9:30 pm. IPhone was on the dash on speaker phone. I was talking to my mom long distance. She said bye. Nothing else was on. It looked like phone disconnected. Then screen went black. About 10 seconds later a deafening bloodcurdling scream!!! I didn’t know at first what or where. In a panic I realize it’s my IPhone. While driving I’m trying to turn down the volume. Switch it to vibrate. I could still hear it screaming, even with volume off. Then it stopped.

My hair standing on end, heart in my throat...what in the world was that. This could have killed somebody! I’m lucky I didn’t have a car accident.

This is my third IPhone, I have had this one for almost two years. Never had this happen in my life. Any idea what this terrifying scream was caused by?

im definitely turning my phone off while sleeping tonight.
