Question

Can't download a song due to error -3244.

I have downloaded the whole album except for one song which keeps returning the error -3244. Does anyone know what - or why - is that?

Glad to help.

But that means that your external disk may be damaged. Backup the data you have there to another location and run Disk Utility on it to see if you can fix the issues, or erase it altogether.

After changing the iTunes Media folder location to my hard disk (desktop) and I could download the song without any problem. 😀

Are you download to your hard disk, or to an external disk?

Some users reporting this or a similar issue had errors in their disks they had to fix.

Make a backup of all your contents first.
