Horizontal flashing lines on Macbook screen

When I open up my Macbook, if I push the screen back past 90 degrees, horizontal, flashing lines appear across the whole screen. I have had my Macbook for about a year and a half now. How do I fix this issue, and why is this happening?

MacBook, OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)

Hi!

Horizontal lines on display indicates potential hardware failure (Display or Logic board related issue). Better contact Apple customer care or take your MacBook to an Apple authorised service centre for inspection.

Good Luck 👍

Hi,

It could be possible that the screen flat cable which connect between LCD and logic board is something wrong.

You'd better contact Apple support or make Genius Bar reservation or take your MacBook to Apple authorized service provider to check it up.
