Overcharged for a movie

I have been charged on my apple tv $8.98 for the movie "Death Wish" when it was advertised for $2.99, can someone tell me why this might happen ?

Could the charge have been grouped with another expense of 5.99?

See your purchase history in the App Store or iTunes Store - Apple Support

If that’s not it, contact iTunes Support through Subscriptions and Billing - Apple Support or Contact Apple Support
