Restoring a jail broken iPod Touch

Today around 10 AM i bought the device which later i saw cydia installed means its jail broken. My question is- while restoring this device,is there any possibility of getting this device bricked?

Is there any safe procedure of restoring it or just restoring with iTunes is all i need?

Hello,

As apple might not be able to help you, i can certainly help you. So you will first off need to know the password for both the ipod and the icloud account (this is just a precaution). So now if you have that follow these steps:

1. Download iTunes if you don't already have it.

2. Back up iPod

3. Disable both passcode lock and Icloud (sign out) (dont have to do this just helps the process)]

4. Plug in ipod to computer with itunes

5. Hold both the power button and the home button until you see the apple logo, then let go of the power button but continue to hold the home button.

6. Then open itunes a pop should appear and it will tell you to restore click it and your done, let apple do its thing.

7. The restore click restore back up

Any trouble search it on youtube always helps.
