2018 15" MacBook Pro Trackpad Settings

Hi everyone. I just bought one of the new 2018 15" MacBook Pro's and I love it so far. I upgraded from my 2014 13" MacBook Pro so I'm trying to get used to the size of the 15", but more importantly I'm finding adjusting to the larger sized trackpad a bit more difficult. Does anyone else find the larger trackpad more sensitive? Perhaps it's because i'm hitting it with my palm when I type of other fingers when using it. I find it very sensitive-does anyone else notice this? I have been playing with the click settings in the system preferences, but it hasn't made much of a difference. Can anyone tell me the difference between the light-medium-firm settings for clicks. I'm guessing this means how hard I have to press to get a result? I have put it up to firm to make sure I have to press to do something, but I don't feel much difference from light or medium. Has anyone else noticed this? Thanks.
