frozen apple logo

It had been a while since I had turned my device off and rebooted. So I decided to do it. So, what happened was that the apple logo came on and then - nothing! Since 2 days, I have been trying to get it going. Have tried the force reboot, Opened up iTunes and go to the point where it says to update. then - nothing! Have tried this several times and - nothing! The apple logo is there and I cannot get past the download of the update. Please can you help? I have an iPad mini 2.

Just follow my instructions to fix your iPad mini 2 :

1) Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes installed on your PC/MAC.

2) Turn off your iPad mini 2 and connect the lightening cable to the PC and before connecting the cable to your iPad make sure you press and hold the home button, by this the iPad will be in recovery mode.

3) A dialog box will appear regarding your iPad click restore or restore and update in order to restore your iPad by doing this you will lose all of your data if it hasn’t been uploaded to iCloud.

4) iTunes will automatically download the software and install it on your iPad.

Hi

Turn ipad off Make sure your pc is running the latest iTunes 12.7.5 or later.

Connect lead to USB on your pc Press just the power button down on ipad don't let go Connect lead to ipad keep power button pressed down until pc sees ipad Then wait for restore you may need to do this more than once Before it works.
