Nothing that I can think of. Ive also got this and wondering if if it was broken in the last OS update as its worked well in the past.

Tried removing account , restart etc and reading and no joy. Tried on a different network and even on my phones 4G connection and still the same. Don't use it that often but id like it to work when I do.

At the time of writing, I still have this problem. How about you? I think it's NOT an Apple issue, but another security issue WITH Facebook like that privacy blunders a couple of months ago. It was ongoing for a few weeks or so, but was later on fixed (or so I thought).

Still happening for me too. MBP using latest version of high Sierra. Also works flawlessly from safari on the Mac and the phone , the connection error only occurs when posting from the social tab in the notification centre.

Ok, I was a bit late to the Mojave party, so after updating (from Sierra) a few days ago, I have discovered that Apple ditched the social media integration for good. No more FB, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Flicker! It turned out that it's been going around with Mojave beta users since 4 months ago(?), and everyone thought it was just a temporary thing, little did they know that it's going to be continuing. Sad, because I used to quickshare a lot, and quickpost to my FB and Twitter. Really, what a bummer. 😕

Question was about using a mac, not an IOS device.

Do you have the AdBlock and/or AdBlock Plus extensions installed? If so, try deleting them and quit/reopen Safari.

No adblock extensions are installed.

Still happening for me too on my desktop - I can however share from my iphone to FB. A weird setting? Only affecting desktops or tablets too?

same problem for me. I am signed into facebook on safari, but share function sill does not work. doesn't work in safe mode or any mode.
