Apple TV 4K, "No Network Detected"

Hi folks,

I've seen this before on this thread, but other queries yielded no viable solutions.

Two days ago, switched from Apple TV 4th Gen to a brand new Apple TV 4K. Software is up to date, firmware on modem is up to date. Using WiFi. Apple TV (old) works like a charm. Apple TV 4K (brand new) constantly shows "No Network Detected", dropping videos constantly. Considering I didn't (and don't) have this problem with the former Apple TV, I don't believe it to be the network.

Is there something I'm missing?

Thanks!

David

Apple TV 4K (brand new) constantly shows "No Network Detected", dropping videos constantly.

If it drop videos constantly, then I presume that these videos do start over the network, so there is in fact a network functioning. So, it appears there are certain unnamed apps that lose their connection during playback and give this message. Which app? Is there any other app that still functions over the network?

Are your network settings on the Apple TV set to Automatic IP and Automatic DNS?
