Keyboard scrambled. I input letters. Output is symbols or different letters. I have keyboard set to us English
i type on keyboard and the output is icons, numbers, symbols, not letters
Thanks, Kraus1! With uneasiness on an Mac Os10 latest iMac edition I switched out the keyboard and that was the problem. I did the reset command option p + r and of course that didn't fix it because the Apple keyboard was kaput. Should've tried that first but feared contamination.
