Videos in Keynote can only play for 99 Seconds. Is there a workaround?

It looks like videos in Keynote slides can only play for 99 seconds. Why do you do when the video is longer? Is there a workaround that works? I've tried splitting the video but cannot get a smooth transition between slides so that the video looks seamless.

There is no limit for video playback if the presentation is set for manual playback, there is a limit of 600 seconds if automatic transitions are used. Ensure the presentation is set to Normal in: Document > Document Presentation Type: Normal

If automatic playback is required, use Record Slideshow (Play > Record Slideshow)
