Recently upgraded to a Gen 6 Ipad and now when I receive emails with jpeg files attached, they are not viewable - all that shows is a blank box.

Have you clicked on Load All Images option in your Mail?
Have you tried a hard reset of your iPad by holding down both the Home and sleep/wake buttons simultaneously until your iPad goes to black and restarts with Apple logo, then release the buttons?
Are you receiving these images directly in the body of the email or as an attachment?
If images are actual attechments, have you tried simply tapping on each attachment to open the image?
On my old Ipad (gen 3) the images loaded in the message body. With the new Ipad, an empty box is shown for where each pic file should be viewable?
I'll try that - haven't for awhile. I'll see what happens over the next several days and let you know.

My option is "Load Remote Images" and yes, it is toggled on.
