Synching messages between phone and ipad
how do I synch messages between my iphone and my ipad?

Thanks for that info and choosing the Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you want to have all your messages in the Messages app to show up on both your iPhone and iPad. For iMessage, make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID in Settings > Messages > Send & Receive on both your iPhone and iPad. For SMS and MMS messages, you will need setup the Text Message Forwarding feature on your iPhone and here is more info on these processes.
