cannot find Skype on Apple Store...
How can I install the common Skype app? I could not find it on Apple Store.

You can download it from Skype | Communication tool for free calls and chat . Depending on how System Preferences?Security&Privacy>General is set you may need either to set it to 'Anywhere', or to 'Mac App Store and identified developers' then if it doesn't open, control-click on the app's icon and choose 'Open' and then allow it.
