When I look at my screen from an angle, there appear to be small discolored bubbles that look kind of like oil spots or something. I believe there are air bubbles in the lamination of the screen. Has anyone else ever had this problem?
I think I figured it out, after talking with apple via phone and some experimentation on my sisters mac book glossy screen (of course before I tried it on my own mbp).
First make sure the MBP is turned off, then using a cloth (I have the cloth that came with the marware protection pack)gently apply pressure to the area and rub using the cloth. The bubble begins to dissipate and eventually disappear altogether. This worked on all four bubbles on my display, hope it helps.
ive had the same issue, and this is the only the third day I have had my MBP. I have seen similar issues with sony glossy screen displays, and even on some cell phones, but I have no idea what the real issue is. Please help
